Terms

I'm Chris at KirbyTech, a one-person business in Brighton. I build websites and look after Google Business Profiles and local SEO for trades across Sussex. These terms are how I work with new clients. I've kept them in plain English so you can see what you are paying for before you start.

Plans

Prices are monthly, and I do not charge VAT.

• Profile — £89/month

  Google Business Profile only. 4 posts a month, review replies and a monthly report. No setup fee, 3-month minimum.

• Website + Google — £149/month

  A website up to 5 pages, hosted, secured and backed up, with small text and photo changes and a contact form. Plus everything in Profile.

• Grow — £249/month (recommended)

  Everything in Website + Google, plus social posts, directory profiles, a new page every quarter, and a review link and QR card.

• Expand — £449/month

  Everything in Grow, plus a new page every month, a blog post a month, and a quarterly review call.

A one-off website build starts from £995 for up to 5 pages, plus Care at £39 a month if you want me to host it and make small edits. Hosting on its own is £10 a month or £99 a year. Add-ons, if you need them: social posts £79 a month, Checkatrade profile upkeep £25 a month, a town page £175 or 3 for £450, a blog post £140, a Google Business Profile suspension appeal £195, ad-hoc work £60 an hour, and a mailbox £8 a month. Minimum term and setup

• Profile has no setup fee and a 3-month minimum.
• Website + Google, Grow and Expand are £0 setup on a 12-month minimum, or £395 setup on a 6-month minimum.
• After the minimum, every plan runs month to month. Either of us can end it with 30 days' notice.

Payment

Plans are paid monthly in advance. I'll invoice you before each month starts. If a payment doesn't come through, I'll pause the work until it does.

If you leave early

If you stop during the minimum term, the remaining months of that minimum are still due. After the minimum, 30 days' notice is enough and you only pay for the notice period.

Ownership

The domain and the Google Business Profile are always in your name. After 12 months paid you can take the website at no cost. If you want it sooner, you can buy it out for £495. I'll hand over the files and access once the account is settled.

VAT

I'm not VAT registered, so I don't add VAT. The price you see is the price you pay.

Founding clients

The first 10 new clients keep their price fixed for 24 months. After that, the price-review rule below applies. The offer is for new clients joining now, and it doesn't change the minimum term.

Referrals

Refer a business and you get a month free, once the business you refer has paid 3 months. One free month per business that joins and stays that long.

Price reviews

I may change prices for existing clients, with 30 days' notice before the new price applies. Founding clients keep the price they joined on for the 24 months in that offer. You can leave on 30 days' notice if you're past your minimum term and you don't want to stay at the new price.
